How?
A bunch of looping audio clips and some nice math to make a random storm every time. There aren't any controls aside from play/pause and seeking. Reload if you want a new storm.

Yes there is! However, theirs is an old app and isn't as complex as I liked. You can interpret this one as my take on the idea. Check out theirs at https://zarfhome.com/.
Why 30 minutes?
